F.A.Q.

  1. Gold Mine isn't working properly. Help.

    • Don't fret.
    • Ensure you are using one of the three iPoker skins listed below.
    • If you are running Vista you must both run the installer as Administrator and run Gold Mine as Administrator.
    • Ensure that the chat options on the tables is not turned off (ie. side-chat or table-chat is enabled).
    • If using two monitors (or three or four, hotshot) place the iPoker tables on your main monitor.
    • Open the Configuration file in the Gold Mine folder and change the line Delay=30 to Delay=80
    • If you still cannot get it to work press pause on your keyboard while Gold Mine is running and then take a screen shot by pressing Print Screen, save it using MS Paint or similar and email it to support@gold-mine-poker.com. You may delete personal parts from the image.

  2. How much does Gold Mine cost?

    Gold Mine 2.1 licence - $24.99 (365 days/no auto-renewal)

    Gold Mine 2.1 Deluxe licence - $36.99 (365 days/no auto-renewal) - Contact us to purchase a Deluxe licence.

  3. How long until I receive my subscription number once I have paid?

    Within 24 hours. Usually much quicker.

  4. What games can Gold Mine mine?

    Holdem, Omaha and Omaha high/low cash games.

  5. Can I use Gold Mine with any iPoker skin?

    Due to small differences in the layout of various iPoker skins Gold Mine may only run in mini view or full table view or not at all on some skins. If you are unsure please use the demo version to test the skin you are using. The following skins have been tested and are compatible with Gold Mine:

  6. But if I play on one skin and datamine on another skin won't I be gathering data on the wrong players?

    No. All skins use the same tables. If you play at VC poker for example, you are playing with players from any other skin when you sit down. Even though you are datamining on one skin you are gathering stats on the players who use any skin.

  7. Which operating systems are supported?

    Windows 98SE/ME/2000/XP/2003, Vista may work too but is not tested fully. Run as Administrator if using Vista. Note that computer specific settings may hinder proper functioning of Gold Mine. Please ensure that Gold Mine works on your computer by testing the demo version before purchasing, as we cannot give refunds.

  8. Why are the stack sizes always $10,000,000.00?

    No stack size information is available in the dealer window and hence unavailable to Gold Mine. If a player becomes all-in then the stack information becomes available and is recorded accordingly.
    Stack information is not required for accurate statistic generation by Poker Tracker. All statistics including amounts won & lost are recorded correctly.

  9. Who can use my subscription number & how many computers may I run Gold Mine on?

    Only you may use your number. You must not share it with anyone. Shared subscription numbers are cancelled without refund. You may run Gold Mine on as many of your computers as you like so long as they are on the same external IP address (ie. using the same internet connection).

  10. What data is sent from my computer when I run Gold Mine?

    Your subscription number, I.P. address. If you have purchased a standard subscription ($24.99) the hand histories that you mine are sent also. If you have purchased the opt-out version ($36.00) the hand histories are not sent.

  11. If I purchase hand histories from you am I allowed resell or distribute them?

    No.
